2-Day Goalkeeper Camp

Join KRS for Our 2-Day Summer Goalkeeper Camp!

KRS Goalkeeping Academy is hosting a 2-Day Goalkeeper Camp Friday, July 15th through Saturday, July 16th from 9am-12pm at Trinity Commons (Generations Church). Goalkeepers will receive top-notch coaching by #KRSGK Founder and Former Professional Goalkeeper, Kristin Russell, and staff.

DAY 1: 

Topics: Shot-Stopping, 1v1's, and Reaction Saves

During day 1 of our camp, our goalkeepers will focus on moderate to advanced technical skills and tactical development when dealing with 1v1 situations. The goalkeepers will learn different handling techniques associated with breakaways/1v1 scenarios as well as tactical decision making during a 1v1 situation. 

DAY 2:

Topics: Crosses, Shot-Stopping, and Distribution

During day 2 of our camp, our goalkeepers will focus on moderate to advanced technical skills and tactical development when dealing with crosses. The goalkeepers will learn different handling techniques associated with crosses, how to claim crosses, positioning based on the location of the service, and all types of distribution.

SCHEDULE:

9:00am-9:15am- Introduction

9:15am-9:30am- Warm-up

9:30am-10:30am- Technical Work

10:30am-10:45am- Break

10:45am-11:45am- Game Scenarios

11:45am-12:00pm- Cool Down/ Closing Remarks

TRAINING GROUPS: Goalkeepers will be grouped together based on age and ability level
