Learn how to become a "Modern Day Goalkeeper" with KRS Goalkeeping!

KRS Goalkeeping Academy is hosting a Modern Goalkeeper Clinic on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM for goalkeepers ages U13+ at Puryear Park, St. Pete. Goalkeepers will receive top-notch coaching by Former Professional & current Goalkeeper Coach for Florida Southern College, Kristin Russell, and Staff.

Session Topic: Modern Goalkeeping

With the evolution of the goalkeeping position, goalkeepers are expected to be just as good with their feet as their teammates that play on the field. Modern day goalkeepers are tasked with playing with their feet and starting attacks by building play from the back. Not to mention, there are an array of new techniques that can help goalkeepers become more dominant in 1v1 situations.

KRS Goalkeeping will teach you the modern goalkeeping fundamentals, techniques, and trends that will help you take your game to the next level! Our Modern Goalkeeper Clinic will focus on more advanced technical skills and tactical development when dealing with 1v1 situations as well as learning how to develop an attack starting from the goalkeeper.

10:00-10:30 AM Shot-Stopping & Distribution

10:30-11:00 AM 1v1: Smother/Through Ball Saves

11:00-11:30 AM 1v1: Spread/Block Saves

11:30-12:00 PM 1v1 Competition
